Resentment

Resentment is today the greatest source of consciousness' fogging. Resentment is essentially envy and contempt toward others. The constant flow of external inputs, deliberately pushes the unconscious being towards resentment. The means of fake digital sociality live off resentment. Those who do not have enough or simply are not enough, are not urged to do and find resources within themselves but only to envy those who have / are presumably better off, in a downward spiral that doesn't find an end .

Then there is a more subtle resentment. The resentment of those who feel imprisoned by the era in which we are called to live, or an era in which sordidness is sold as a value to be sought. It is, for example, the resentment you feel every time you are socially forced to request some service, which you have actually overpaid, and you find the graying employee treating you with deference.

Or, and I'm talking from a personal experience, the thought that inept people like the last two former prime ministers or that symbol of illness that is Roberto Speranza had the power to force me not to leave the house, lose my basic rights as a citizen and thus further limit my personal freedom.

The trap of resentment must be avoided. We must repeat to ourselves that every era has its difficulties, appreciate and love our fate that has given us this as "our time" and do the best possible with the time that we are allowed to live.
